How do I purchase my tickets?

At the gate, no online purchases at this time.

How much are Tickets?

For Adults:

  • $10 on race day

  • $20 on race day with additional events at Energy Downs

Events are FREE for anyone under the age of 17

Can I use a credit card to wager?

When it comes to wagering, Cash is King. Credit cards are not accepted. ATM’s are available on-site.

What time do gates open?

  • Fridays: 4:30 p.m.

  • Saturdays: 12:30 p.m.

  • Sundays: 12:30 p.m.

  • Mondays: 12:30 p.m.

Is there a weather plan?

Please come prepared for all weather. If storms take place we will pause and bring everyone to the grandstand for shelter. Guests are responsible for their own rain jackets and umbrellas.

What is the dress code?

Casual dress code is just fine. Remember to dress for the weather as you will be outdoors. Of course, fun hats are always optional!

Will the races be streamed online?

Yes, all races will be live streamed online if you can’t join us at the park.

What items are/are not permitted on derby grounds?

Please do not bring weapons or animals to the derby grounds. We want these events to remain as safe as possible.

Are there refunds?

No, refunds will be given for race days.  If the race is postponed you will be able to use your ticket purchased for that specific date.

What are the maximum and minimum wager options?

Minimum bet is .50 cents, no maximum bet

Are children allowed at the race?

  • Yes, a day at the race is a fun and exciting family friendly event.

  • Free admission for anyone 17 and under

Is this a good family event?

Yes, this event is great for families! Come down and start a new family tradition.

What is the best place to park?

Please park in the lot attached to Energy Downs.

How long does the race day last?

Each race day lasts roughly four hours.

Can we bring our own food/beverages/cooler?

No outside food or beverages may be brought into the park.

Are there food/drink options?

There will be vendors on site to make food and beverage purchases easy and convenient.
